NASHIK: Launching a scathing attack on the saffron alliance that rules the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC), chief minister Prithviraj Chavan, while promising better civic amenities and development, hinted at administrative changes for improving civic amenities and law and order in the city.
Chavan was speaking in Nashik on Friday, a day after municipal commissioner B D Sanap and police commissioner Vinod Lokhande were transferred out of Nashik, which was described recently by the state election commission as the most sensitive place in the state after Gadchiroli in the run-up to the local polls.
